if you've got a priority ticket, good, you will almost certainly get in even if you turn up at5.30 or something.
if you don't have a priority ticket, try it anyway, when they say anyone got priority, say yeah, take ages getting the ticket out of your pocket, then show him lots of pieces of paper, odds are they won't check it very well because he's getting impatient, then act dumb if he says it isn't, he prob won't make you get out the cue

Frankie Boyle is an abortion of a comedian.
That's a shame, as my sister's just bought me tickets to see him. Then we're seeing Germaine Greer the following night to see her lecture on her new book (on Anne Hathaway - sadly the wife of Shakespeare rather than the increasingly fit actress). I reckon the juxtaposition of the two nights will be interesting at least.
Alos off to see Russell Howard as part of the Sheffield comedy festival. is he any good live, does anyone know?
I think he's funny but it's obvious many of the lines are just well rehearsed ones from his stand up. I'm not sure how original he actually is on the show.
Frankie Boyle's ace. going to see him live in Nov/Dec sometime, thoroughly looking forward to it. genuinely no idea how anyone could find him merely mildly funny, let alone 'an abortion of a comedian', but hey ho.

I don't know what the proportions are, but i would be surprised if there's less scripted stuff than ad-libbed in virtually all shows of this type.
