I hope Brazil do better against the USA than my Brazil did in FM yesterday (I was beaten 1-0).

no problems with arnaud. he's been great this season and lesser people than him have been given a shot. altidore should have been in instead of wolff. guzan has been a beast this season and should have been given the nod over seitz. mastroeni has no business in that squad.

There's just absolutely no reason for Wolff to be in the squad and I really think that if Bradley wants to be giving caps to uncapped players for the squad - he ought to be capping 18-23 year olds in anticipation for 2010 rather than a 27 year old.

Then again, Bradley probably expects to be fired before then.

Other than Mastroeni, that's a pretty good midfield. Defensively, I don't get why he didn't call Bornstein up though.

I guess the MLS is retarded and didn't allow for an international break, though that could just be the Bradley apologists' excuse.

Salcido recalled by Mexico after Copa America pullout

MEXICO CITY (Reuters) - Mexico defender Carlos Salcido, who pulled out of the Copa America due to tiredness, was recalled by coach Hugo Sanchez on Friday.

The PSV Eindhoven player was included in a largely experimental squad for the friendlies at home to Panama on Sept. 9 and against Brazil in United States three days later.

Defender Ricardo Osorio and midfielder Pavel Pardo, who also withdrew from the squad before the June-July tournament in Venezuela, were left out.

"There's no type of friction, this word has never existed in the national team," said Sanchez.

"He (Salcido) is aware the players who are picked are not in future going to dare say that they need holidays or are tired or are not feeling good emotionally. This is not going to happen from now on and everyone is aware of this."

Earlier this week, the Mexican federation announced players would be subject to a code of conduct aimed at tightening discipline.

"Nobody here is on a blacklist, nobody is being punished, we are simply holding the players responsible for their actions," said Sanchez.

Goalkeepers: Guillermo Ochoa (America), Luis Michel (Guadalajara), Alfonso Blanco (Pachuca), Sergio Arias (Sinaloa)

Defenders: Omar Esparza (Guadalajara), Israel Castro (Pumas UNAM), Julio Dominguez (Cruz Azul), Edgar Mejia (Guadalajara), Jonny Magallon (Guadalajara), Hector Moreno (Pumas UNAM), Adrian Aldrete (Morelia), Fausto Pinto (Pachuca), Carlos Salcido (PSV Eindhoven)

Midfielders: Emmanuel Cerda (Tigres UANL), Jose Guerrero (Atlante), Jaime Correa (Pachuca), Patricio Araujo (Guadalajara), Gerardo Torrado (Cruz Azul), Jorge Hernandez (Atlas), Gerardo Rodriguez (Pachuca), Edgar Castillo (Santos Laguna), Fernando Arce (Morelia), Andres Guardado (Deportivo Coruna)

Forwards: Luis Landin (Pachuca), Nery Castillo (Shakhtar Donetsk), Giovani Dos Santos (Barcelona), Cesar Villaluz (Cruz Azul), Carlos Vela (Osasuna), Juan Carlos Mosqueda (America), Juan Carlos Cacho (Pachuca

first and foremost I demand to know why that clueless clown insists on calling up only 19-man squads.

Clearly he believes you get bonus points for not calling a full squad
