Ah I see, you don't think he should be in the list because you don't like him, glad we've sorted that out
Plus spending money Lazio didn't have, surely thats down to management not Sven. I'm sure Leeds fans don't blame David O'Leary for the demise of their club, they blame Peter Ridsdale and co

in fact the only achievement i see that is particularly worthy is the uefa cup with goteborg
| taking Benfica to the European Cup final pretty decent imo </BLOCKQUOTE>
perhaps, but in those years didnt a half score of minor clubs manage it? after all teams like milan had bought up most of the talented players.
winning it woul have been a remarkable achievement. </BLOCKQUOTE>
your argument falling apart now.. you cant say winning it would be remarkable but getting to that game is nothing.
unless you're saying a single one off cup match is the difference between being crap and great - which is a bit silly. </BLOCKQUOTE>
now my argument is he is not as great as some say. as pmlf pointed out, others got there, won it and arent in the list.
and your argument is he qualified with england twice?????? ffs with the players england have, not getting there should be a hangable offence.
had he qualified with, say, togo then it would be different.

yeah it does help that irish has now come out and admitted a partial vendetta for this argument.
anyway, I personally think Sven is a pretty decent club manager even if his playing style isnt that great, kinda hoped City would get someone more clueless.

Cartman: no, i dont like bianci either but he is deservedly on the list, nor do i like capello or lippi.
i dont think he should be on the list, because i dont think he is in top 50 of all times

Trying to belittle Sven's achievements by comparing them to MO'Ns SPL successes |

| Yeah actually top50 is a bit harsh for that accomplishment of epic proportions. Should be top 10, or even top 3. Aren't they considering a Nobel peace prize as well?

Carlos Bianchi won more Libertadores titles (5 titles) than any other manager.
He took Vélez to win the Libertadores title in 1994 (beating Telê Santana's São Paulo in the final) and then the Intercontinental Cup, where his Vélez beat Milan 2-0.
Carlos Bianchi is better than Felipão, for example, in my opinion. And surely better than Parreira. But Bianchi never won a WC and he never wanted to manage Argentina.

ffs before the world cup the english believed that they should have walked through the thing, now your telling me just qualifying was a great achievement?
