Without having to travel to Bedford where I could most likely get some decent coffee theres not many places to go that I know of that'd stock anything other than your supermarkets standard stuff. And I'm not doing a 40 mile round trip for a little bit of coffee, I'm not into it that much..yet anyway, especially as I really only drink it once a day in the morning.

I heard somewhere that if you keep your coffee in the freezer it keeps fresh longer. Any truth in this at all ?
you might gain an extra day, but it's not like it's cryogenically kept fresh or anything. and I never do because frankly my freezer smells kinda funky and I don't want my beans picking up those smells.

I like coffee icecream, but there's absolutely none to be found anywhere around here.
I may have to make some myself.

Meh, not quite the same.
Mainly because most of the stores round here sell crap icecream. And if I'm making my own icecream I may as well make it with coffee.

Do you buy that in your tesco equivalent though?

Decent coffee at Tesco Passable at best, I'd say, and then you have to choose wisely.

tesco sells a pretty good coffee ice-cream. is there no tesco nearby? </BLOCKQUOTE>
Yes, but they don't sell it.
And judging by their other icecream it's not something I will heartily enjoy.
