I heard somewhere that if you keep your coffee in the freezer it keeps fresh longer. Any truth in this at all ?

Do you buy that in your tesco equivalent though?
Without having to travel to Bedford where I could most likely get some decent coffee theres not many places to go that I know of that'd stock anything other than your supermarkets standard stuff. And I'm not doing a 40 mile round trip for a little bit of coffee, I'm not into it that much..yet anyway, especially as I really only drink it once a day in the morning.

| you might gain an extra day, but it's not like it's cryogenically kept fresh or anything. and I never do because frankly my freezer smells kinda funky and I don't want my beans picking up those smells.

Meh, not quite the same.
Mainly because most of the stores round here sell crap icecream. And if I'm making my own icecream I may as well make it with coffee.
And mint.

| Decent coffee at Tesco Passable at best, I'd say, and then you have to choose wisely.

there's also the internet, although obv it doesn't seem worth it to you.

tbh I'd somehow completely forgot about the internet. I'm not that much of an expert so how long can you store coffee before it starts going iffy?

Yes, but they don't sell it.
And judging by their other icecream it's not something I will heartily enjoy.
