I don't think his career will be over.
Maybe his TV career, but that mostly has come about in the last 5-10 years.
He was a hugely successful writer beforehand and I can't see that stopping now.
As for the sentencing, seeing as it is only possession of images, they're hardly going to throw the book at him. </BLOCKQUOTE>
I didn't ask them to throw the book at him... I said he should get the same as anyone else convicted of the same crime.
Since when did writing become immune from personal issues? It's as subject to "who you know" as anything else - and do you think editors, publishers and commissioners don't have the same prejudices that everyone else has?
