My new Microsoft Office 2007 arrived today and I put the disk in and the product key was accpeted. When I clicked upgrade it got to about 3/4 of the way to finishing and then said "Error 1311. Source file not found: DYI561403.CAB."

Does anyone know why it does this and how to get around this problem?

if so sounds like the disc is corrupt

Should I just return it to amazon and has this happened to anyone else?

That file should be on the disk, try searching for it.

Also, do u have a TablePC and/or Pen Input by any chance? That file appears to be linked to the controller for them

Just tried searching for it on the disk and couldnt find it

before you go through the trouble of shipping it back, sometimes there's just a smudge on a specific sector that keeps the disk from progressing. give the cd a gentle wipe with a soft cotton t-shirt and try it again.

What you upgrading from? 2003?

If you still have that disk you could unistall it and install 2007 fresh. It may be some issue as its upgrading rather than a clean install
