Why the hell dont BBC output in widescreen?
Its the only channel that do it, so many programs dont output in 16:9. MOTD last night for the womens footy, and i just happened to put BBC1 on and the horse racing isnt either. Although wierdly when they talk to the jockey it is in 16:9
Even the pointless channels on Sky output in 16:9

IIRC itv dont always put the CL out in widescreen either.

The Beeb put out more widescreen than anyone else!
With the women's world cup they have to take the feed from the host broadcaster and what with the rest of the world being so far behind the uk in terms of broadcast technology you get Chinese 4:3

Maybe it just happens with the programs i just happen to flick to, but BBC are they only channel ive had problems with

I hate widescreen, far prefer standard TV.
