The problem is, I can't afford to spend that kind of money on a graphics card (to upgrade to a 8800 on that Mesh PC Will Smith linked to adds £330), which is far too much for a budget of £6-700.
Also, I can't choose 7x00 cards from companies like Dell or Mesh, as they don't offer them.
Are any new cards likely to be announced soon? I can hold back on ordering a short while, but i'll need the computer by the beginning of October.

i know for certain you can get 7900s from those. </BLOCKQUOTE>
I couldn't see any on komplett, but could on pcspecialist.
Prices are so much more on those sites, for example, a nearly identical computer to the one in the first post is £100 more on pcspecialist, even with the same graphics card, £120 more with a 7900GS.
It would be cheaper just to buy the Dell PC and fit a 7900GS myself, but i'd feel a bit annoyed at spending £70 or so for such a relatively small upgrade.
Thinking of getting a Dell (still not sure which of the two is a better system for the money) and replace the card after 9 months or so when prices have dropped, allowing me to get a 8800 (or a new card) for quite a bit less than they cost now, and when proper DX10 games are out.
