I know nearly everyone on here plays fm and nothing else, but is there anyone that plays anything else? whats second best?

CM 01/02 was fantastic but I think FM 2006 was far better, once you got into it. I wasn't a fan of any of the versions in between those two, but I think by the time it got to FM 2006 it was a great game. better than 01/02 due to the greater detail and lack of ability to win everything with some unrealistic narrow tactic.

I haven't got into FM 2007 as much, this is due to time constraints more than anything. FM 2007 seems to be far more difficult than FM 2006 as well, which makes it less fun for me, can't really complain about that though. I'm looking forward to FM 2008 and will make an effort to get into that.

There's a lot of people around who won't hear anything suggesting that 01/02 isn't the best ever, but the later FM versions are essentially superior games

Agree with uul(n) completely. I will even go so far as to say that every single new version is better than the last. The few bugs that are new in such versions are unfailingly ironed out with patches in no time at all.
