Because, despite the obvious minuscule audience and rubbish programming, Sky still think that it is part of their "premium" channels. And so shouldn't be debased by being on Freeview.
Year on Year drops in audience size of c20% since Freeview's inception may make them change their mind soon.
Ditto for the Virgin channels and their prolonged absence.
My uncle is thinking of getting freesatfrom sky but wanted to know if sky one was among the channels you get for the first 12 months, then if you don`t subscribe you lose it and are left with just the free to air channels.
