Could you imagine sky saying here is a free sky+ box, thank you for staying with us, i do want sky+ now that they`ve dropped the monthly fee but it`s still £99 and £30 installation which i don`t have, as anyone tried what scotty206 says, knowing my luck sky would say thank you for your custom we`ll miss you goodbye

You don't have to burn your bridges, at the end of the call if they haven't offered what you want, you just say "i'll need to think about it" and hang up.
Mum's fella got a free reconditioned sky+ box & free installation plus no monthly fee for it to try and get him to sign back up with them. (He'd already left and they offered him this to get him to come back & take the sports package.) Plus he got 3 months half price sports as well.
