The Sunderland thread - Featuring Niall, Nyron and Keanooooooo
Firstly, champions \o/
However, it's time to move on. We had a fair attempt at the top flight a few years back and did alright. Then it all went tits-up. Got another go and somehow surpassed the previous effort in terms of misery and failure. Anyway, forget the past. It's a new era

Might be people I've left out and the squad numbers might be wrong but that's what I copied off the official site.
Released a couple of crap players and bought Greg Halford for 3.5m. Definitely going for Nugent, who I reckon would be a fantastic signing. Likely that Keano will go for a couple of centre backs, as Nyron needs a partner and a bit of depth would be nice too. Think we could have an exciting summer in the transfer market.
Really looking forward to this season, real sense of optimism about it. Got Quinn at the helm with Keano in charge, cracking players like Edwards and Whitehead, and hopefully huge support in the stands.

How is Ross Wallace doing?
Handy player, Keano seems to like him more than Hysen so has been used much more. Shows great passion for the club, a prime example being sent off at Hull for overcelebrating his last minute winner. Shown the second yellow then red, paused for a few seconds, then turned to the away end, fists clenched in delight.
