Any news on Richardson to Sunderland? Seems like the kind of player that Keane wouldn't go after but the rumors keep coming. £5.5m and £45k p/w both sound ridiculous. Perhaps it's just lazy journalism like with Scholes.

Bit of transfer activity in the last couple of days.
Richardson has signed. Not happy about it, awful lot of money for a complete tw*t. However, hopefully Keano can put him back on the right road and get the best out of him, if such a thing is possible.
Also signed Dickson Etuhu. From Keano's comments on him he seems like a squad player, so I wouldn't expect him to be starting games.
Still no definite news on Gordon or Baines.

Take all the off-field ***** away from Richardson and he's a much better proposition imo. Hopefully Keano's influence will calm him down a bit. Time will tell.
The Etuhu transfer has came out of the blue, mixed reactions from Norwich fans about him leaving but you'd think Keane would know a good midfielder when he sees one.

Mixed news on Etuhu is right. I personally think he's got great potential, but doesn't show it enough.
Still, have your lot got a decent attacking midfielder you want to offload? We're in need of one quite promptly!

Raimond Van Der Gouw now your goalkeeping coach. Tim Carter has been moved to the Academy.

Had a bit of news in the last few days.
Baines wants to go to Everton, which I don't blame him for at all. Would be a better career move for him and would mean he wouldn't have to move, especially considering he's just had a second child.
We've signed McShane finally. Hopefully his reported hip problem won't flare up and he'll be a solid addition to our defence.
Interest ended in Gordon and in keepers altogether it seems. Keane still says we're after players so we'll have to wait and see. Seems Quinny's a bit bored as well.
