i have seen on teamtalk you have had a bid accepted for paul robinson and paul mcshane for 5 million. this true?

Exactly. I wasn't entirely convinced he is what we needed anyway and £6M was too much.

Apparently so, but there's been rumours going round that a couple of players had failed medicals and it was thought it'd be these two.

I think McShane would be a canny buy but not too sure about Robinson, I just think we need someone more dynamic and technical.

Was surprised when I read this on Teletext, but Keane's ultimately done the right thing. If Nugent wasn't sure or was waiting to see if Everton came in, then he can't have been that committed to come to you lot.
