Why do people care so much?

In a world where Wars happen for no reason, a world where we could easily have our heads blown off by suicide bombers, a world where you could be car jacked, shot or stabbed just by walking home from work, is it SO WRONG to admire and follow true sports-men who actually do something positive for us and our country???

Seriously, point out to me the oh so offensive comments in that thread about a man not even confirmed dead. People literally rolling over themselves to be outraged. </BLOCKQUOTE>

people generally rolling far more to be the one who cares the least and is willing to show it with his wit.

those who were "outraged" as you put it, were generally people who honestly were fans of McCrae and are probably a tad upset at his likely demise. it's not rocket science.

Never understood people who get so outraged over other's people's emotions when somebody dies. If you didn't care about somebody then don't care enough to post in the thread. Simple as that.

if you hate/dislike someone when they are alive, why should you all of a sudden change your tune when that person dies.

Disclaimer: I have not seen Zaitsev's comments in the McRa ethread. But nonetheless my question still stands.
