NASN used to do this as well, they would let you watch the first ten minutes or so of the live NHL game before cutting you off.

Remember Setanta showed the whole of an Old Firm game once or twice.
First was when Celtic beat them 3-0, then a 0-0 draw.
Think both cut off 10 mins before the end.
