Apparently Samba is fine and will be traveling back home with the team. No further information at the moment, but I'd imagine he at least has a concussion.

well i've always called that type of reasoning to justify a decision crap. just wanted to know whether it had been raised here.

You find managers reading basically reading a script more intresting? </BLOCKQUOTE>

No, but i find him and his assistant storming around the technical area and throwing laptops about for every decision that could possibly ever dare to go against them pathetic. People seem to think he is "adding something to the premiership" and all but its getting so tiresome. I noticed he kept pretty quiet about the penalty at anfield, but the second anything goes against him he starts acting like theres some huge conspiracy against them.

It all got a bit tiresome a while ago, so Jose tried to stop especially as Wenger and Fergie stopped playing with him. He managed for a bit.

i never really bought into the "fresh" angle that people said JM brought to the Premiership.

Yeah, I thought Jose was going to be less bitter this season.

Anyway, pleased with this result at least. Not really suprising though, Blackburn a difficult side to beat.

Hmm, our club thread is dead so I may as well post here. Mikel is immense, certainly and easily worth whatever we paid for him so United fans smugging about it is quite funny, I won't compare Mikel to Hargreaves but I'm happy with what we got as I'm sure you are as well. I also didn't think he was bad today either, certainly we looked better when he came on because Sidwell did nothing, I appreciate the game looks different on TV and at the ground but Mikel broke up play better, the only problem I'd find is that he wasn't quick enough distributing it wide.

But the problem is we were dreadfully impotent up front. I knew we would be, when you're missing in Lampard and Drogba the players who score about 80% of your goals in the last three years, there's trouble. As usual, Shev worked his nuts off, but as usual, Shev really didn't worry anyone. Neither did Kalou, neither did SWP. Neither did Malouda when he came on. Joe Cole did, he was fantastic, but there wasn't an option to use, which is quite funny because when Drogba's there we act like he's the only option. Missed his hold-up play badly, but missed creativity and desire too. Maybe some tactics, basically Blackburn were never worried.

Samba's thing was weird, it was right in front of me, couldn't believe both him going for that header and Shev actually thinking he could shoot from there, but it looked so tame. He barely moved when he went down, neck brace, everything, glad to hear he's fine. Savage and Bentley took some mad abuse in that spell, Savage laughing it all off as ever. Webb took some too, deserved, because he's absolutely useless.

Moaning is immense, but today not one of the more frustrating draws for me, sense of inevitability about it.

who was the fool that turned samba over btw? certainly no blame on sheva for trying to get to the ball. and his reaction immediately after shows its a genuine attempt i think.

today i watched the chelsea and arsenal 2nd halves. I wasn't surprised by either result. for me chelsea didn't have that air of invincibility.

All I'm saying is i'd rather see Jose acting like a bad loser/child than watching Curbishly being a boring nothing. And again I'd rather see Jose speaking his mind however wrong bitter and samey than Curbishly saying nothing in particular.
