Default Mates, find me a TV please?

now I know absolutely nothing about TV, what the bets makes are, what a good size is, what features I should be looking out for, how much I should be paying, where the best place to get them from is. So this is where you come in.

basically I want something HD since I will mainly be playing Xbox on it and Ive noticed it makes such a difference if you play it on a nice HD monitor, so essentially I just want something fairly decently sized to play the Xbox360 on, although I will be watching TV and DVD's on it too obviously.

I am not sure what my spending limit is yet, as I dont know what sort of money these things cost, but I am sure someone the other day was linking some 32" HD ready one for £300? is that way too low to be right?

Also is there a difference between HD ready and HD? excuse my flagrant ignorance.

Cheers peoples

Serps and others will go MENTAL if you don't spend £500 plus.

I spent £200 on a Wharfedale fwiw and love it. Not a 30" mind you.

Seemed a good deal to me.

Although i spent £350 on a CRT 32" Samsung HDTV and it's beautiful in HD and then better than our LCD still for normal inputs, scart and that.
