also one last question mates (probably) is it siginificantly cheaper to buy online? might actually go out and buy one today otherwise

Like most things, probably.
I remember when i was looking, i could get the 26" model online for the same price as the 23" model offline. Even places like Curry's will sell them cheaper if you order online rather than going in

That Sony deal is great, I paid more than that for the 26" version a while ago, It's a really nice TV.

| At around the £500 mark you might save £100 by buying online, at the upper end of the market you might save something like £700.
