Listen, 3m for the Sweden captain really not that bad a deal. He has been in bad form for Arsenal last 2 seasons, but as much as anything that's because he hasn't had a run of games and has had injury problems. If you can keep him fit, he'll do a job.

At his best, the guy had a superb engine, pace to burn, ridiculously clever off the ball running and was a natural finisher. Has played in the Champions League final, World Cups, Euros. You're West Ham ffs, not AC Milan. Give the guy a chance

I think you needed someone like him. at least it means bowyer can hopefully rot in the reserves like he deserves to.

ljungberg is a good signing for you lot. 3m is a bargain imo, very good deal. if he's fit like others said then he should be one of your key players during the season imo.

I think it is an ok signing.

West Ham needed a right winger. Even before Flaubert was injured, they probably needed a backup.

And if he can play on the other wing as well, it offers competition for Boa Morte/Etherington.
