I think you need new central midfielders. Boywer's just useless and Noble is technically average imo. Especially as you have Ljungberg who could do with playing with a playmaker to pick out his runs.

You need to look abroad to find some quality players, espcially with the money your Chairman has, Curbs has no excuses. [QUOTE]

The problem for us is our limited scouting networks we have abroad. That's the impression I get anyway. To foreigners I can't imagine us being anymore than just a club that narrowly avoided relegation as well which doesn't help.

And yes, Bowyer should go. He had a good second debut and since then has been poor. I'm sure he could do a job for some club somewhere but West Ham is not that club.

By all accounts we have a lot of work to do anyway. We are desperately short of creativity.

So, Dire has joined.

And we're being sued again.

Get Anelka in and it's going to be even more like a season worth of Eastenders than last season ffs

£8m for Dyer.

I'm finding it hard to follow that sentence up without swearing.

THAT'S the reason West Ham are still difficult to hate.

Well that as well, except Newcastle might actually be good this year and i'd rather they not get more money.

Good point. West Ham so irrelevant, we should probably learn to dislike Newcastle instead.

Dyer singing isnt great but we are lacking in midfield at the moment.

There is way too much expectation this year from some of our fans. Some of the people on Kumb are terrible.

Saturday was dreadful. You knew within 5 minutes we were gonna struggle. Couldnt keep hold of it and Bowyer looked as bad as i have ever seen him.

I dont know why some here (Darth and Nathan) dont rate Noble. He is a real prospect but its hard playing with someone as lightweight as Bowyer. They were both trying to do the same thing. I said to my mate after the game that we missed Reo Coker. Noble needs someone like that (strong, gets around the pitch) to play with. He will be much better when Parker comes back. Noble will be very good.

Curbs did cost us the game by switching Etherington to full back, when we were well on top. However, i dont understand some of the reactions regarding Curbs so far. Let us see how he does. Let him build his team etc.

Anyway, saying all this, we must pick up points soon. We have decent fixtures and if cant get a few points in those games, then it could be tough
