Why england hasn't got a good basketball team?

For tennis here in Cyprus none cared before Marcos Baghdatis. Now the reputation of tennis is rised up...

I've been involved in amatuer basketball leagues and you'll find most of the big guys over here playing the semi-pro stuff arent english. The average english player height is between 6' and 6'4" which is pretty small considering. </BLOCKQUOTE>

i see enough tall people to make a competitive league in this country. Its just encouraging them to play from an early age. I'm 6ft 7 but never really had the chance to play.
