Well you are EuroLeague is massive in Europe. So you are wrong and as other people have said in this thread it is 2nd biggest sport then you really should take the consensus of opinion because it is right instead of your own which is ill informed and being frank about it is wrong.

1. Basketball is boring and always will be..
2. It's a much more expensive sport to get going tbh compared to our favourites sports, no-one really is going to put in the money or effort for something that quite frankly everyone hates playing and watching.
3. Anyone over the 6ft range will more likely fancy crunching tackles in rugby rather than popping a ball in a hoop, in a sport where fags rule....*controversial*?
Overall it will never catch on here, ever....
