Maple : Germany and France probably have a bigger population then UK and Italy is close?

and germany and france are both slightly bigger than the uk in terms of population.

I'm not sure anybody in America could name a rugby club much less a player. Beyond a few people who play in parks, rugby is virtually nonexistent in the US.

yeah i agree that you can class fishing as sport. but i would say most people fish as a past-time as opposed to sport against people.

| You're absolutely correct. My mind keeps the population figures of West Germany and didn't think about the Germans being around 80m now. Still, I think the argument that you can't compete because you lack numbers in terms of population is flawed.
