from some one that you don't know? i got one yesterday
the recorded voice said 'hello this is a reverse charges call from...' *que 12 year old boys high pitched voice* "hi it's jonathon"

'if you woudl like to accept this call press..'

now at that point i put the phone down but i can't help thinking i just condemned some 12 year old kid to some dangerous situation. like he just dialled any number in in the hope that someone would help him and i just put the phone down.

used to do them to the folks all the time when i was at boarding school. oh those were the days.

got one from some mates asking me to come out and play football. Back i nthe days of no mobiles and phoneboxes with no cash on them.

Dad was annoyed, cost about 2 quid when the bill came

I used to do it just so someone knew I wanted them to call me or if I was ready to be picked up or something. My ex used to do the same to me too

In a dangerous situation i'm pretty sure if you were able to use a payphone your call would be to the police, rather than to a random number.
