No, but it's easier, surely? Not being a gamer, I'm completely out of the loop when it comes to illegal activity regarding games but is it possible to download console games from a variety of sources, burn them to disc yourself and then play it on a console you've modified yourself (or don't you have to "chip" them anymore?) Whereas PC you would just download the game and a crack, right? </BLOCKQUOTE>

Still think console games by now should be around the 30-35 pound price range not the 40-45.

People who play with consoles are simply more stupid so won't notice so quickly they're being fleeced. Or they're spoilt kids who don't mind the price because their parents pay for it all.

maybe tradition also. A low price on PCs started as a trend and now people wouldn't want to pay more than that.

10/15 years ago PC games were costing 40/45 quid easily. Only started to come down around 2001.
