5/8 Kilkenny v Wexford
12/8 Cork/Waterford v Limerick

Football: Perennial All-Ireland pretenders Dublin have been pitted against Derry in the tie of the round as the draw for the Bank of Ireland All-Ireland quarter finals was revealed at Croke Park on Sunday.
The Oak Leaf County disposed of Laois by four points in the qualifiers on Saturday night to set up a clash with the Blues.
Meath have been drawn against Tyrone in another eye-catching fixture. The Royal County have been reborn since their defeat to Dublin in the provincial quarter-final, and Colm Coyle's charges will hope to secure a semi-final berth with the scalp of the 2003 and 2005 champions.
Reigning kingpins, Kerry have been drawn against surprise packages Monaghan, who brushed aside Ulster rivals Donegal on Saturday.
Connacht champions Sligo face a Cork side lucky to scrape past Louth in the qualifiers.
Quote:
The 4 provincial champions Sligo (Connaught), Tyrone (Ulster), Dublin (Leinster) and Kerry (Munster) face back-door qualifiers in the this years quarters-finals. Sligo shocked a lot of people in winning Connaught, they won 3 games to clinch it and their defeat of Galway in the final was a terrific win, and fully deserved. Bookies don't think the fairytale can last much longer though and have priced them as 50/1 outsiders to lift the cup. Tyrone look good again, their hammering of Donegal in Ulster semi-final showed they meant business again this year, they overcame Fermanagh in the final and are a lot of peoples favourites to lift the cup. Dublin, the team everyone loves to hate have been solid if not remarkable in Leinster. They overcame bitter rivals Meath after a replay, and went on to annihilate Laois in the final. Have been scoring goals for fun the last few years and while a large portion of the country's population wants them to win it for the 1st time since 1995, they're all packed into a small county on the east coast. Kerry, the darlings of the pundits, the bookies favourites, the reigning champions and most-time winners, they've only had 2 games so far, one a no-contest V Waterford and then a far from convincing win over Cork in the Munster final.
Cork, Meath, Derry, Monaghan - all 4 have been beaten in their provincial championships and have gone on and played a lot of football since in the qualifying series. Derry for example have played 6 times so far including a shock victory of giants Armagh in Round 1 of the qualifiers, they've also beat traditionally strong teams in Mayo and Laois. Meath would have been sick to lose to rivals Dublin after a reply but have since beaten Down, Fermanagh and Galway, the latter coming with 2 quick goals which might have flattered them. There was some trouble in the camp but with their star man now back in the panel they'll have their eyes on meeting up with Dublin again and getting revenge. Cork, beaten Munster finalists have only played one qualifier, a tight game where a plucky Louth side only lost by 2 points. The bookies aren't fooled by this and know quite rightly to feature them among the favourites. Monaghan, played 3 tough games in Ulster before losing the final to Tyrone. One qualifying game seen them beat Donegal - the league champions, and beat them well. They remain an outsider but nobody wanted to draw them in this round.
Quote:
Hurling: Kilkenny V Wexford
A repeat of the Leinster final in which Kilkenny made an absolute mockery of Wexford, beating them by double scores.
Kilkenny, the reigning champions, also won it in 2000, 2002, 2003, have appeared in the more finals than any other county and are odds-on with the bookies to do it again this year. Coasted through a poor Leinster championship before having a tough match for the first 60 minutes V Galway until they upped gears in the final 10 minutes to run out 11 point victors.
Wexford, beat Dublin by a single point in their first game this year before the aforementioned hiding in the Leinster final. Shocked everybody in beating Tipperary in the quarter-finals and if they can build on that performance they will make life very tough for Kilkenny.
Cork/Waterford V Limerick
An all Munster affair, will be a great game no matter the outcome. Limerick will be pleased that both potential opponents will have a tough replay to play a week beforehand, they'll need any help they can get as they will be the underdog.
Cork - came through the qualifiers after losing the Munster semi-final to Waterford. Hold more All-Ireland titles than any other county and will need to put together a good game to have a chance of reaching the final and adding another one.
or
Waterford - perennial underachievers, haven't won an All-Ireland since 1959, but have been my team of the Championship so far after winning the Munster title, with Dan Shanahan scoring goals for fun at full-forward they're relishing their 2nd shot at Cork and will fancy their chances should they meet Limerick again.
Limerick - another underachiever, beaten Munster finalists, have played a lot of hurling this season after 3 titanic battles with Tipperary early in the Munster championship. Beat Clare well in the quarter finals but will be looking for Cork and Waterford to batter each other next weekend to have any chance the following one.
