No it means Cork and Meath won. Cork scored 1 goal and 11 points, a goal is worth 3 points so that's 14 in total against Sligo's 8 points. Meath got 1-13 (worth 16 points) against Tyrone's 2-08 (worth 14 poimts).

Sunday's results:

Kilkenny 0-23 Wexford 1-10
Waterford 2-17 Cork 0-20

I was at the games today. The day opened with an awful game as my own county, Kildare, yet again failed to win something, losing heavily to Westmeath by 2-15 to 0-13 in the Christy Ring Cup final. It continued in an bad vein as Kilkenny made mincemeat of Wexford with Henry Shefflin scoring 14 points. No surprise there.

At least the third game was good though as Waterford overcame Cork in the quarter final replay with Dan Shanhan and Eoin Kelly particulary prominent for the Decies. So Waterford play Limerick next Sunday, will they have enough left in the tank?

I didn't watch it so I can't comment. I'll be in Croke Park tomorrow for Kerry v Monaghan and Limerick v Waterford.
