Oh yeah, the special move overheads, where the ball would zig zag/power/curl towards goal depending on which country you were. Quality.

World Cup Italia 90 was a really poor game, but me and my mates used to try and play for a 0-0 draw and it was quite easy as finishing in the game was quite hard anyway as the penalties after extra time was the best thing about that game

quite surprised nobody has tried to steal the WC 90 pens system as that was almost a mini-game in it's own :cool:

fair enough. personally i've found single player insanely boring on the last few versions and it's not really improved at all, to the extent that i'm not sure i cba getting the new one, especially just on PS2.

heh, who am i kidding, will blatantly buy it like a complete mug and be massively disappointed by single-player again.

I could never figure out how on earth to reproduce those, I seemed to randomly cause them without rhyme or reason
