Those whom I'd expect to have got the Kingdoms expansion today are conspicuous by their absense.

So when they eventually decide to resurface - what's the lowdown? Opinions? First Impressions... whatever.

I wasn't going to get it, but the Collect@Store way of acquiring it at PC World for £5 less is too good to miss.

Was supposed to get this today but had to go shopping with the girlfriend, took forever and by the time we got home I had no time to get back to town. :thdn:

Still, I shall repay her by paying more attention to the PC than I do to her when I finally buy it.

I got it! \o/

But after the second year of the Brittania Campaign, I went to go into a battle and it crashed on me. First time MII:TW has crashed on me ever I think.

It also wouldn't apply patch 1.03 to the main game so I'm going to have to uninstall MII:TW and Kingdoms and re-install.

Doesn't seem to be a general problem for most people though judging by the forums so don't let it put you off getting it.

I'm completely reinstalling. Updating from 1.00 to 1.02 is the longest install of a patch I have ever experienced.

At least 15 minutes (so far) and my machine isn't sluggish generally.

Moan moan moan.

The diplomacy better have improved. In my current game I married into the Frenchies royal family, and withing 10 turns they were attacking.
