I was born June 1970.
I remember:
Miner's strike and hating Thatcher
Live Aid - I was in a school play at the time and missed my cues as I was watching back stage.
I'm with Rocky on Star Wars btw.

Music wise i saw the rise & fall & rise again of the Spice Girls when i was in my prime
Plus i got to go to Millmoor when it was still partly terraced rather than having to sit down.

PS Vince Bartram | When it comes to Star Wars, I'm talking about the experience of seeing it at the age of 7 rather than "ooh isn't Star Wars great - I'm so lucky to have been one of the first!".

| The 80’s had the best cartoons ever, although Thundercats was pap.
Also had plenty of other cool shows like Night Rider, The A Team and Airwolf. Dare I say Manimal?

Being born at the time of the 9 in a Row generation of Rangers supporters. Growing up and never knowing what it was like to lose the title.
Was really hard to take when we lost our invincibility.

I'm guessing you were too young to have seen Jaws?
Would have loved to see that at first showing.

Grew up with the bestest cartoons - thudercats, centurians, gummy bears etc.
Rick Astley, Bob Geldoff, Chris Waddle and Alan Shearer were my heroes.
And the single most influencial thing about my life - the back to the future series. watched them daily and am convinced that i have seen them all at least 2,000 times each. Can recite each script back to front with no problem.
