how 'bout a contest ? Post #61 | | Guest | views
I agree with theperspective view thing. There's only one drawback to that though.
We're working here in Photoshop. Angled, bitmapped images don't read well. They're difficult enough at 1200 ppi. at 72 -100 they look terrible. I think that people are choosing 2d renders has something to do with that. If the 'contest' were Illustrator or 3d programs, then everything changes.

I did not take it that you did not think before you spoke. It seemed to me that you were simply expressing a preference.

thanks Moth, you're right.
I'm just saying I don't think about how much work goers into somethings, sometimes. Before I say, hey, how about this?

I agree with Moth. My reply to Ricib wasn't intended to be anything but an explanation, certainly not a rebuff. If it was taken that way, I apologize.

no appologies needed. Simple confusion me thinks.
While perspective is nice, we all know it takes much more time in some cases.
Carry on now, nothing left to see here. ;\

I had to cut out some of the stuff because I simply could not figure how to place them on the page...! \:]
The cars got some problems [shhh] but I couldn't fix them with out creating more..

Yo, You did a fine job on the pres thing. The point I was attempting to get accross is as ahown. Curves and angles simply don't read right in rastered art. Of course you can do it, and you've done it well, but there is no 'quality' to the image. Picky maybe, but there's a vast difference between hamburger and porterhouse. There is nothing that 'skill' can do to rectify it. Compensating with a high ppi is about it. Then you've got scaling issues.

Definetly...
It's funny I was just looking at your car up close...
I wanted to see what the hell you here doing in there [innocent]
The detail in the wheels rims is incredible.. theres tread on the friggin tire ..ahhhh...the multi reflection on the signal lights. [saywhat]
I love blowing things up and seeing what going on..It would be fun to see at full resolution... But from what you've said I think my computer would freeze and die before even opening the beastie.
Thanks for sharing.
