It's also in a lot of 'Sugar Free' sweets and chewing gum (Wrigleys Extra etc), not just drinks. Its even in some dessert products.

I started a thread about the very same thing in January.

It's still used by big companies because apparently the American equivalent of the FSA (or whatever it is) has some sort of vested interest in certifying it as safe.

Well, you know how big business is squeaky clean!

Hmm well soft drinks are delivered door-to-door in Kuwait, and the trucks are always sitting outside, so unless the only symptom of GWS is gross obesity this theory's ********.

wife lurves coke zero. I can drink it without cringing unlike aspartame/sacchrine drinks but it's still pretty rough.
