final salary is defined benifits scheme. i.e. the level of your benifits are defined by the scheme.
don't think you can get any of it as you don't contribute towards it.

You won't be able to access it until age 55 I think.
As it was probably a non contributory DB scheme it's not 'your money' as such.
The age 55 is because from 2010 you cannot draw your pension from before this age. Government legislation etc.

you don't want to touch your pension, seriously. Trying to buy those years back when your 60 will be ridiculously expensive.
