Our work have just forced through some more security measures - amongst them is a parking permit which you are expected to permanently keep affixed to the wind screen.
my point (not backed up it would appear) is that this would over time, clearly identify my car, and therefore me, by where I work.
As i work in a slightly sensitive environment, i believe that the car permit is (security wise) self defeating as it makes it easier to identify personnel.
is there any evidence that supports my view or have I gone and got on a high horse i should get down from?

An old uni mate of mine wanted to be an air traffic controller. Went for an interview while he was still at uni. When he came back we asked him how it went.
