So, after more than five years of faithful service, seems my old Sky box is on it's last legs. Pixelated picture, sound jumping and/or being out of sync, freezing pictures, all the usual signs really. However, can't really complain as five years seems a decent life for these things. In comparison been through six Sky + boxes in two years

Sky however, are robbing bastards. They want £130 off me for a new box, the same price as having a second Sky + box installed ffs! Considering I only watch this box a few days per month, it's just not worth it. So, do you guys have any alternatives? Perhaps websites that sell new boxes? Someplace reliable, trustworthy, that's not looking to fleece me.

I rang to cancel when my box broke and they gave me a new one for free.

I bought a box off ebay £30 when mine packed in and rang sky they activated it for me. no probs.

Ring threaten to cancel free box voila.

I don't want to cancel ffs, I have Sky + with them, I just want a new box. Doesn't matter any more anyway, got one. BBB is a star.
