i don't but i probably should do. the usual routine when looking for a cd involves me becoming increasingly irate at myself for 5 minutes while i fail to find it, then finally finding it and no longer being arsed. the longer i wait the more hassle it becomes too. oh well.

sorting by year as well as artist just sounds weird btw.

DVDs I do the same, but keep box-sets and music ones seperate, as well as TV and movies.

Used to do them in alphabetical but just find it easier now to just put them in a row.

DVDs ordered by type (TV Show, Film, Comedy, Sport) then alphabetical.

Can't remember where my CDs are anymore...

i have all my cds and dvds in a big fat carry case thing in alphabetical order. well, it was until the first cd i bought after that which would have meant moving most of them around.

Like so ^

Left to right the first seven columns are a-z. The top half of stack seven was until this afternoon the top half of stack 8 but they looked like they were going to fall over so i shifted them.

Stacks 8 and 9 are randoms, singles, compilations etc that i've not bothered to a-z. That said i've got maybe another 30 albums just lying around all over the place that need putting in there too
