Attendance was dire, atmosphere better than it's been all season though, strangely. Team playing the same rubbish though, popping it around 35 yards out with no penetration and being cute on the edge of the box, ignoring the wide man and having no focal point up top. Pizarro has to be injured, no way does jetlag keep him off the bench now. If he and Drogba are out for United, Sinclair has to get a look. I know he was ineligible tonight, and that he's inexperienced, but pace causes panic and quite frankly our options right now suck. Except Shev was quite good tonight. Ignoring the goal he was handed, he took set pieces, he was everywhere, breaking up play, generally did very well. Come on the Shev.

Another awful ref too, seems to be a running theme this season.

the ref was not that awful.. haha riseth is always trying to get the other players angry.. he's dirty on the pitch, but the ref never see him doing something dirty

The ref was dire, at both ends of the pitch the slightest contact saw the defender getting a foul, couple of Rosenborg players just attempted to hack down Sheva and Malouda when they broke free too with no punishment.

Juni I think Pizarro is confirmed to have a calf injury.

This was relatively meaningless, yeah. Even if we'd lost our first two games in this group we could still qualify for the next round whcich can't really be said at any later point in the season.
