I guess i'll just keep trying to sort them out with various other programmes like Spybot

Loving the look of all those hostfile entries - basically trying to stop you visiting any antivirus websites

Spybot and Ad-Aware a complete waste of time IMO. Try Prevx, who have a 30 day free trial where they remove anything found free of charge during that time. :thup:

All I'm saying is that the majority of people who find themselves infected tend to have AVG, Spybot and Ad-Aware installed thinking they're as good as pay-for programs.

You get what you pay for IMO.

Of course - if you're knowledgable in surfing the interweb, and are able to spot scams and fake-antispyware programs at 100 yards you should be fine. unfortunately the majority aren't - and these programs are useless in these situations...

and most cases come with an atrocious power supply with it. Much better buying them separately
