Don't even consider extending his contract. Might even be worth getting a new driver asap, but I'd leave it for 2 races tbh, then terminate him before the last race because the market will go crazy again after 3 races.

Yup, and the guy was nowhere last season, so the driver has given him about 2-3 seconds per lap

But for $4.5mil do you think he'll (and more importantly would you) be able to manage the finances all season?
