With a couple of days still until the race I am still 5th now out of 22 cars but would be pole in another couple of groups. Just outside the top 10% of all Amateurs.

Hope to be top 10 on the grid once the remaining cars are on the grid, still wait to see the last season Master qualifies but he is waiting in the next driver market to get someone to drive still.

I'm still 8th of 19, but times show I'm at the back of a group with the guys ahead of me, as it were. There's 3 seconds between Chris in 2nd and myself, there's one guy just behind me then another 5 seconds to the guy in 10th. Cause for optimism.

Still in 2nd at the moment (as mentioned by HD), and 13th out of 208 amateurs so far.

All the main protagonists in A2 are still yet to qualify - but funnily enough, the majority of them don't even have drivers, so it seems tomorrow may be an important day.

Sibinski has come from nowhere to become the fastest of all amateur (because of his new $4.5mil per race driver), and a lot then depends on who all the strong managers from last year manage to sign as their drivers. I could easily see some of them missing out on the first race through failing to sign anyone - OR many of them could be racing with their "backup" drivers meaning a possible strong start of the season.

A top 8 start would be more than satisfactory though, and continue to build for my promotion push next year.

That just leaves Francis Cole as still missing in action. Hopefully for him he will be back tomorrow after a prolonged two week break.
