Yup - exactly my problem.
Upgraded to levels 7 & 8 when I had the opportunity - when I really should have been renewing at the level I was already on and saving the cash for a rainy day. Hence the problem with me smoking my way through the last 2 races, after only JUST finishing the previous one...

I will probably stick to level 6 this season and then look to have level 7 for some parts at the end of the season. That way I will get double use out of tem and then maybe back to level 6 unless I promote.

qualified fastest in Q1 in my group so far (although only 13 have qualified as yet). disappointed really, a good half second down on my best practice time, but i suppose it's a start. way down on the fastest times in rookie overall but i guess there'll be plenty of people who have gone for upgrades immediately.
gonna wait until more people have qualified to work out how much fuel to stick in for quali 2.
