| No Hairy, NO! Step away from the "Upgrade Car" page.
You're in a solid position as you are, were already fighting for top 12/10 placings last year - so just keep upgrading your car where finincially viable, and then a new driver will launch you to safety once again.
One more season of consolidation is not a bad thing - as I'm doing the same myself. |

Should i bother training him then if thats my plan ?
Would more than cover the fee for his pay off if i don't train until then.

Now, in fairness to myself - I really wasn't expecting to promote until I sneaked a couple of wins in a row, so I really hadn't been building up my car at all.
Then when I realised I'd be promoting, I had no money left to upgrade the car to a decent standard. |

If you're going to compare times then ignore mine HD. My driver has a long history of being **** at anything to do with qualifying.
Not once gone faster than his net practice times on a dry track even though my practice laps are always at the upper/lower limits so around 50-60 clicks out per part.
He's a c[i]u[i]nt.

| If you're only planning on keeping him for 10 races max (as I did with mine last year) I wouldn't waste any money on training whatsoever.
This year I'm also limiting myself to level 6 parts across the board in a bid to start saving cash for a realistic promotion bid next year

Yeah, i might give him a Psych traing session after this race just to see if there is any improvement at all then leave it.
limiting yourself to certain part levels actually sounds like a plan too, biggest mistake i made was going mental with the upgrades only to have to downgrade near the seasons end . I had a level 7 engine at onepoint |
