you choose a team and get a free spot in a rookie group.

You get placed into a group when there are 40 people waiting. The same as what happened to craig yesterday.

Once you have been placed, you are able to join a team. You don't have to but i'm sure poyplemonkeys need the players

My stated ambition is to promote, but I think it's touch and go - current driver lacks out and out pace, and i'm stuck with him for 13 races.

On the plus side I expect regular points fairly easily.
