| I'm sure his booking away in Milan meant a suspension. I'm also sure that at least some suspensions carry over into the next season (or whenever the next european game they're eligible for is). The only way he could be eligible is if suspensions for red cards (including two yellows in the same game) carry over, but ones for cumulative yellows don't.
