Check this out. I'm going to start doing some tutes This is a general idea of how I want to do them. PLEASE comment. I'm being SUBJECTIVE with the design, I need OBJECTIVE input. Of course, the idea isn't to have everyone building cameras. But tu learn the technique and apply it to other projects.
This would be the 1st page of a multi page doc. that would take you through to the finished camera.

Yup. looks good. I'd use transform a copy (Ctrl+Alt+T) to move the first rectangle, then repeat transform (Ctrl+Alt+Shift+T) because I'm lazy... and like precision.
One thing I like in certain tutorials is when they explain the "why" alongside the "how". It is useful to be able to adapt the tut to other subjects.
Do you intend to do an image-based tutorial, or was it for showing it to us that you did so?

ronmatt, I think I speak for many, or at least me, when I say, go for it!
You've proven so far that you are quite capable of producing fine quality product, as well as a willingness to help. For that I'm sure more than I are greatful.
Thanks!

ctrl+alt+T / crtl+alt+shift+T, Thanks. That will be in the tute.
I can't believe just how ignorant I am sometimes.
