If life was fair Elvis would still be alive and all his impersonators would be dead

Most impersonators I've seen tend to focus on his worst era - the time when he was wearing jumpsuits, his voice was gone and he couldn't even breathe properly.

Every time you think there's something in the media on Elvis, it generally is about those sad people who dress up in jumpsuits. | I'd challenge you for the biggest fan mantle.
Elvis impersonators no longer impersonate Elvis. They impersonate other Elvis impersonators.
The idea that jumpsuit Elvis was always fat and past it is ridiculous. See anything from his Vegas runs around 1970. I'd argue that's when he was at his absolute peak.
Watch 'That's The Way It Is' and his performances of Tiger Man and Suspicious Minds and anything else where he gyrates like a madman, and tell me that he's being fat and lazy.

I remember reading a stat on the BBC website that said, if the current rate that the number of Elivs impersonators is increasing year on year continues then the whole world would be one by 2040.
