what does that little line mean when it shows at the bottom of the screen on a computer game advert?
i know what 'not actual in game footage' means but 'representataion of actual game footage' means what exactly?
all i can think is their trying to confuse you by using slightly strange terminology when actually they mean that what your seeing on tv is a mocked up demo which has had the graphics tarted up a bit and it wont look any where near as good.

It's because for ages the ads have just shown the cut scenes. Now the developers are saying "no, it really does look that good when you're playing it. Clever aren't we?"

i can't remember the name of the game but it was showing all these fancy 3rd person views of some woman swishing around with a sword and doing athletic jumps killing things. it looked very stylised like it wasn't actually what you would see when playing.
so in that case it might look as good but you wont actually be seeing it like it does on the adverts. which is misleading you into thinking it plays one way when it actually plays another way.
