I painted fences and made coffee! It was aces although my trainers got covered in green.
My favourite work experience memory was the ned kid who came to my old work though, and cut a section of his finger off on the last day. Unlucky!

did my work experience in the accounts department of courage's office in staines. i highly enjoyed lugging some old files up to what i think was the top floor, opening letters and charging them for my travel and lunches (kfc or mcdonalds every day btw). gave me a hat at the end of it too, was far too big but eh, was free.
i assumed at the time that that would put me off working in an office for life, but eh, it's qg atm. ho hum.

Yeah, don't ring my office. We had this girl's mum ring us today asking if the girl could do work experience (I would never have asked someone else to ring up for me, so that alone was weird), to which the reply was "The guy you need to speak to isn't in the office today, can you call back tomorrow?"
An hour later, the girl rings us herself asking (well, shouting, absolutely terrible phone manners) the same question, and gets the same reply. An hour later, and her mum rings us back asking again. Needless to say she isn't doing work experience with us.

I did mine at Gigg Lane for Bury FC in their Football in the Community department. Basically two weeks of doing football training at local schools, taking school kids on tours of the stadium or just chilling out with the coaches.
