After a new pc, mine is running like a slug at the moment! I'm after it for basic internet, music, office but I would like to play a bit of Pro Evo if possible...

I doubt you need 4gb of ram, i would go for less (2mb) but better spec like 800mhz, pc2-6400 or higher.

So reduce the ram to 2gb, upgrade the graphics. Anyone else reccomend anything for around the £450-500 mark?

Dell mate, same machine at Mesh came out around £700!

I'm looking at replacing mine (*) for a similar budget, so I'd like to know the answer as well. No Pro-Evo though, just FM08 when it comes out, as well as my music collection and so on.

* rather, I'm getting a second as my daughter is always using mine. I bought her a laptop last year (she begged for a laptop rather than a desktop) but she never uses it.

Anyone want a year old laptop with very little use??
